One attorney reportedly said that, “we expect to see legislation regarding the legalization of marijuana continue to advance much the same way it did under the Obama Administration. This really isn’t anywhere near the top of Trump’s agenda, and frankly, it’s not even on his radar screen…at least not in his first term” -R.Filteau, Houston Employment Attorney, excerpt from Payday Law

My previous vid on this topic was lame. This time, I try to at least pronounce ‘marijuana’ correctly…
Controlled Substance is a Youtube channel about drugs from a scientific perspective and without any taboos. We assume intelligence and responsibility from our viewers, since all are actors in one of the biggest conflicts of our time: the international War on Drugs.
#NOTE 1: Long story starting with the US calling for an Opium conference in 1909. After World War 1, the League of Nations was created, which first made cannabis a controlled substance through the Geneva Convention in 1925. It had been mostly the US pushing for the scheduling of cannabis. Remember: this was right after it had just made alcohol illegal in its own country. Later, these treaties were implemented in a UN Framework and expanded in the 60s.
#NOTE 2: It seems like teen usage actually is lower since legalization in Colorado. https://t.co/wpoTulHkzq
#NOTE 3: Not sure if black money is a widely used term in English for untaxed money in criminal networks. English is a second language for me, as you might hear. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/b…
#NOTE 4: My previous video was really bad, but became the most watched video on this channel. It’s hard to walk the line between making something substantive that takes days to make and something quick that might go viral but is not that great. I fully agree with all (most 🙂 ) complaints about that vid.
LOVE THE SUPPORT, you girls and guys are great!
